The problem of global interpolation of numerically defined surfaces, which arises in synthesis and analysis of shaped reflector antennas, is reviewed with emphasis on the application of Pseudosplines. Several aspects of their implementation are outlined and the relative ability of pseudospline family members in accommodating the principles inherent to optical syntheses is explored.Downloads
