Abstract
This paper discusses some of the basic principles of CDMA networks. The paper concentrates on direct sequence spread spectrum and discusses issues such as capability for interference suppression, calculation of error probability, multiple access capability, synchronization, use of error control codes, the use of CDMA in a cell site, type of network including the need for power control, and its performance in fading channels.Downloads
